    The EPA and USACE rule making process is trying to better define what waters are protected by the Clean Water Act after the courts muddied (forgive the pun) the waters a few years ago. Remember that while the core argument here is about headwater streams and wetlands and these often ephemeral areas may not hold many bass, they are the source waters and filters for your lakes, rivers and reservoirs. Their protection means better water quality downstream.


    Missouri BASS Federation Nation has signed on as a whole but it is highly effective for each individual club to do the same.
